Steal Fish Eggs Angels & Demons Biome Guide

The Angels & Demons biome is Update 4’s headline feature and the twelfth biome in Steal Fish Eggs. Unlike every other zone in the game, its contents change depending on when you log in: at night it randomly becomes Angels (Light pets) or Demons (Darkness pets), and on rare nights both sides merge into a Merged variant that grants both egg pools plus a luck bonus.

The biome is not a soft recommendation. It sits behind a 20 billion Speed gate, and each side has its own guardian that will catch you below that threshold. This is endgame content for players who have already maxed Gold or Red Trail and pushed deep into the endless pool.

How to unlock

Minimum 20 billion Speed to enter. The biome only appears at night in-game. During the day the zone does not exist — you cannot scout it in advance. Practical order: max your Speed stat first, wait for nightfall, then check which variant spawned before committing your run.

The new treadmill tier added in Update 4 is specifically designed to help players push toward 20B. If you are grinding toward the biome, the treadmill is the intended upgrade path.

The 16 new pets

There are exactly 8 Light pets on the Angels side and 8 Darkness pets on the Demons side. Each side runs the full rarity ladder from Legendary up to a single Divine, with Secret and Eternal tiers in between.

The two Divines — ArchAngel (Light) and World Burner (Dark) — are the headline chases. The Eternals, Pegasus and Skeleton Horse, are the ones eligible for the Secret Fusion Shrine.

How the nightly rotation works

Every night the biome rolls which form it takes. An Angels night gives access to the Light egg pool; a Demons night gives the Darkness pool. Because you can only access one side per night, completing the full 16-pet collection means logging in across multiple nights and catching both variants.

Different login times across the day can catch different night rolls. If you log in once in the morning and once at night, you may see both variants without waiting a full week.

The Merged variant

The Merged biome is the rare event where Angels and Demons combine. When it spawns, both egg types appear in the same zone and the biome grants an extra luck bonus, noticeably raising your odds of pulling a rarer pet. The Merged variant is time-limited each time it appears — prioritize stealing eggs while the luck boost is active.

Secret Fusion Shrine

Tucked behind the waterfall inside the biome is a hidden room called the Secret Fusion Shrine. There is no visible door. Head to the waterfall and walk into the hidden path behind it to reach a portal. Step through to enter the shrine.

Inside are two pedestals: one for a Light pet and one for a Dark pet. The shrine accepts only:

• Eternal or Divine rarity
• Light or Darkness type from the new biome

Eligible pets: ArchAngel, World Burner, Pegasus, Skeleton Horse.

Place two eligible pets on the pedestals, wait for fusion to complete, then collect the resulting Fusion Egg. Put it in your pen and wait for it to hatch into a stronger fused pet.

Luminous Egg

The old Monster Egg is retired. The Luminous Egg works similarly — a rare chance to re-roll into a luminous variant of an animal. This replaces the Monster Egg in the loot table.

Speed gate and biome strategy

The 20B Speed requirement is not a suggestion. Below 20B the guardian will almost always catch you before you can carry an egg back to your base. Do not attempt the biome on Grey, Blue, or even Purple Trail if you are below 20B Speed. Train first using the endless pool and buy Red (5x), Dark Matter (6x), or Universal (8x) from the Trail Shop.

Scout empty-handed on the first visit: swim out without picking up an egg to read nest tags, then go home and plan your second trip.

Where new pets rank

Developer-published money/s values for the Angels & Demons roster are not public yet. The two Divines are clearly positioned as endgame chases behind the highest Speed gate in the game, feeding the only fusion mechanic. The fish tier list will update when concrete income figures are confirmed in-game. Until then, rank by rarity and by whether you can actually bank the egg — a World Burner you cannot carry home is not an upgrade.
