Steal Fish Eggs Endless Pool Speed Training
The pool outside your tank is the grind. Here is how to use it without donating your fish.
The storefront tells you to train on the endless pool to gain swim Speed and to upgrade that pool. Sportskeeda places the training pool outside your tank. This page is the spend-and-schedule tool for that object. Trail multipliers sit on top; they are bought next door in the Trail Shop.
There is no published tick-rate table (no “level 3 pool = +X Speed/min”). We will not invent one. The test is empirical: upgrade, retry the nest that was eating you, see if the chase shortens. That is the calculator.
Where and how
Step out of the tank into the pool. Swim. That is training. Do it:
- While a hatch timer runs (how to hatch).
- After a failed steal, before you repeat the same death (how to steal eggs).
- In short bursts if your tank is unlocked (how to protect your base).
Do not treat the pool as a second AFK job that lasts an hour on a busy shard. Six players will notice.
Spend order versus Trails
Cash wants two sinks: pool upgrades and Trails. A clean split:
- First $1,000: Grey Trail. The 1.5x hits every future pool tick.
- Next cash: pool upgrades until nearby nests are easy.
- $10,000: Blue Trail.
- Alternate pool → Purple → pool → Gold.

When to stop training and steal
Stop when you can bank the nest you actually want. Training past that is procrastination. If the 13 September biome is the goal, train until Purple or Gold feels comfortable in current far water, then save a pad for patch-hour deaths. Biomes is the ring model.
If a rebirth feature ships, pool rank might reset or persist. Until updates says which, keep upgrading. Sitting on cash “for rebirth” is how you miss the first day of new fish.

- Grey equipped.
- Pool laps during hatches.
- Upgrade pool when a chase still feels identical after a Trail buy — you bought the multiplier but not the base.
- Glance at the tank every lap.
- Leave the pool for any tagged egg that beats your cut line (best fish).
The pool is not the game. The steal is the game. The pool exists so the steal works. Use it that way.
AFK versus active training
Swimming the pool with the window focused is training. Leaving the character circling while you watch a video is a raid invitation. On a 6-player shard the difference is not theoretical. Glance at the tank every few laps, or do not complain when a Gold-Trail visitor empties it. If you must AFK, read how to protect your base first and accept that no lock is advertised as permanent.
Mobile and console notes
Thumbstick swimming in a small pool is easy. Thumbstick 180s at a nest after a pool session are not. Warm up one nearby steal after a long train so the camera is not cold when a tagged egg appears. Console players have the same loop; there is no separate pool object.
After 13 September
If the new biome is farther than current far water, the pool becomes more important, not less. A new Trail row would change the spend split on the Trail Shop page.
