Steal Fish Eggs Fish Tier List

Fish are the engine. Trails make you fast; fish make you rich enough to buy Trails. This list ranks roles, not a fabricated encyclopedia of every model in the tank. When an in-game index is fully visible, names and $/s go into the fish index. Until then, rank by the tag over the fish and by how hard the egg was to bank.

Official breadcrumbs we will actually use:

• Eggs hatch into rare fish that generate money.
• Sizes and mutations exist.
• A Jellyfish Egg in promo art is tagged $89,121Sp/s.
• A rainbow shark hatch is advertised at 0.01%.
• The 13 September 2026 patch adds more fish and a new biome.

That is enough to build a useful tier without lying.

S — bank these when you see them

High tagged income, mutated, or both. The jellyfish egg number is the kind of tag you cancel a mid-tier steal to take. A 0.01% rainbow shark is S if it actually lands; it is not an S plan. After hatch, compare the final $/s with your weakest slot. A mutated mid fish can out-earn a normal “rare looking” fish. Keep the number.

A — solid upgrades

Any hatch that clearly beats your current worst fish and came from a nest you can farm on Blue or Purple Trail. These are the fish that buy Gold Trail. You should be replacing Grey-session commons with this band as soon as how to hatch finishes. Do not keep a cute common because it was your first steal.

B — fillers

Early commons and uncommons that pay for Grey and Blue. Mandatory in Getting Started, disposable the moment an A fish hatches. If your tank is still all B after an hour, you are either dying on every mid nest or you are collecting instead of replacing.

C — flex without pay

Pretty, tiny, or joke fish whose income does not move the Trail shop. If the tag is worse than a B you already own, it is a screenshot, not a build. Sell or overwrite. The best fish page is blunt about this.

Mutations and sizes as modifiers, not tiers

A mutation can promote a B species into A or S. A huge size can make the steal harder, which is a Speed problem, not a reason to skip a good tag. We will not invent Silver / Gold / Rainbow multipliers copied from Steal an Egg. Those numbers belong to another place ID. When Steal Fish Eggs shows a multiplier on the fish card, that multiplier wins.

After 13 September

New fish will probably occupy S and A in the new biome. Do not freeze this list in your head. Recheck updates and the fish index. If a new creature pays like the jellyfish promo egg and lives in the new water, it is a Speed project first — biomes — and a hatch project second.

How to use this list in a session

1. Scout nest tags empty-handed if the water is hot.
2. Steal the best tag you can bank at your current Trail (trails tier list).
3. Hatch, read $/s, replace the worst slot.
4. Spend the extra cash on pool or the next Trail, not on a 449 Robux panic.

If every nest tag looks the same, you are still in near water. That is fine. B fish buy the Speed that reveals S tags. Skipping the curve is how people drown with an empty tank.
